Die verschiedenen R\u00e4ume sind aus Themen entstanden, die sich wie ein roter Faden durch das Werk von Astrid Lindgren ziehen \u2013 Themen wie Freiheit, Mut, Hoffnung und Lebensfreude. In den G\u00e4rten verschmelzen Moosbeete, Laubeng\u00e4nge und Nesselg\u00e4rten mit Skulpturen, Musik und Wasserspielen. Wenn mich jemand fragt, woran ich mich aus meiner Kindheit erinnere, denke ich nicht zuerst an die Menschen. Sondern an die Natur, die meine Tage damals umgab und sie so intensiv erf\u00fcllte, wie man es als Erwachsener kaum begreifen kann. Die Walderdbeeren, die Leberbl\u00fcmchen, die den Waldboden bedeckten, die Wiesen mit Schl\u00fcsselblumen, die Blaubeeren, der Wald mit den filigranen Moosgl\u00f6ckchen, die Weiden um N\u00e4s, wo wir jeden Weg und jeden Stein kannten, der Fluss mit den Seerosen, die Gr\u00e4ben, die B\u00e4che und die B\u00e4ume, an all das erinnere ich mich besser als an die Menschen. Ziel war es, genau an dem Ort, an dem Astrid Lindgren aufgewachsen ist, auf dreieinhalb Hektar Land G\u00e4rten anzulegen. Die G\u00e4rten wurden in drei Etappen bzw. drei Kapiteln angelegt, wobei jedes Jahr ein neues Kapitel er\u00f6ffnet wurde. Seit dem Sommer 2016 ist der gesamte Garten f\u00fcr Besucher*innen ge\u00f6ffnet, doch auch heute entwickelt sich der Garten st\u00e4ndig weiter, ver\u00e4ndert seine Form und sorgt f\u00fcr \u00dcberraschungen. Wie eine gr\u00fcne, lebendige Erz\u00e4hlung. Wir pflanzen 20 B\u00e4ume und 30 Str\u00e4ucher in den G\u00e4rten. Dabei handelt es sich sowohl um B\u00e4ume, die alte oder kranke B\u00e4ume ersetzen, die entfernt wurden, als auch um neue B\u00e4ume, die die verschiedenen Gartenr\u00e4ume
