After that, the two collaborated closely for many years, not least when Marit T\u00f6rnqvist created the environments for The Story Journey at Junedale in Stockholm. Now &#8211; 30 years and an entire artistic life later &#8211; comes a new book in which Marit T\u00f6rnqvist has illustrated Astrid Lindgren\u2019s lullaby \u2018Alla ska sova\u2019. Visitors can take a peek into Marit&#8217;s studio, see how work on a book develops, look at \u2018unsuccessful\u2019 images that Marit has discarded and try out different illustration techniques themselves. Here we also encounter common themes that appear in the works of Astrid Lindgren and Marit T\u00f6rnqvist: longing for childhood, oscillation between light and darkness and commitment to a better world.
