It is open land full of promise and possibility and close to the sky. That&#8217;s why the meadows have been used to represent freedom in the gardens at Astrid Lindgren\u2019s N\u00e4s. Freedom is an important theme in Astrid Lindgren\u2019s writing. Her stories vibrate with freedom \u2013 freedom from oppression, freedom to play, freedom to discover, freedom to be who you want to be. It is this freedom that is a prerequisite for development and diversity. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"flex items-center justify-center w-full -7\">\n\t<div data-aos=\"\" data-aos-duration=\"\" class=\"flex flex-col items-center justify-center w-full gap-4 px-6 m-auto text-center inner-contain mobile:px-4\">\n\t\t<h2 class=\"-italic text-[36px]  leading-[1.5] text-darkGreen text-center\">\n\t\t\t\u201cThe children looked at each other in silence. Tens of kilometres of beautiful stone fences now run through Sm\u00e5land, a reminder of when farmers cleared them from the fields.
