Welcome to Astrid’s home
Astrid Anna Emilia Ericsson was born right here on 14 November 1907. She grew up here with her three siblings and all the other children on Näs farm. A life filled with play, freedom and love. It was like Noisy Village in real life. Book a unique, guided tour of her childhood home. Visit our new major Astrid Lindgren exhibition and our temporary exhibitions. Wander through our themed gardens, which are in full splendour all summer.
This offer includes
We welcome seniors, companies, associations, schools and other organised groups. You should expect your visit to Astrid Lindgren’s Näs to take between two and three hours (although many visitors like to stay a little longer!).
The offer includes:
- A guided tour of Astrid Lindgren’s childhood home.
- The exhibition Astrid Lindgren and the Power of Stories, as well as our temporary exhibitions.
- The gardens at Astrid Lindgren’s Näs.
The guided tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and takes place standing up. Due to steps and narrow doorways, wheelchairs and walking frames cannot be taken into the childhood home.
To qualify for our group discounts, groups must consist of at least 20 paying visitors. The booking must be completed and confirmation received no later than three weeks before arrival.
