Astrid Lindgren’s Näs opens for the season
Astrid Lindgren’s Näs will open on 17 April. Finally, you will have the opportunity to enjoy our gardens at a magical time, when the sap starts to appear and the buds burst into life. Welcome to a new season at Astrid Lindgren’s Näs!
Enter the world of imagination
We are opening the doors to this summer’s major exhibition ‘Astrid Lindgren and the Landscape of Imagination’, a tribute to Mio, My Son, the world of stories and the capacity for imagination. Original pictures and stories from the book ‘I will never forget this’ will be on display in the Garden House from 17 April to 29 June. Year five students at Nydalaskolan in Malmö share stories about their lives in words and pictures.

Walk in the gardens
During the Easter holidays you can also see our regular exhibition ‘Astrid Lindgren and the power of stories’, enjoy a coffee or tasty bite to eat in the restaurant or look for signs of spring in the gardens.

“…my God, who had to walk so piously along the little path between the hedge and the hazel, past the brook where the marsh marigold glowed yellow in the spring, along the ditch with all the strawberries, past the spring, the deep and mysterious one where the milk cooled in the summer heat, up to the old wash-house, which stood there brooding in such solitude amongst the greenery and then – amen – end at the ditch where the golden saxifrage grew.”
Astrid Lindgren, from ‘Samuel August från Sevedstorp och Hanna i Hult’
