Take the train to Astrid Lindgren’s Näs!
Travelling by train is both a pleasant experience and climate-smart. The train makes two stops in Vimmerby, one at Astrid Lindgren’s World and one at Vimmerby station. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to Astrid Lindgren’s Näs from either stop. Once you reach the site, we have lockers for jackets and small bags. If you need to store larger luggage during your visit, please speak to staff at the entrance.
Parking
Our car park is located about 100 metres from the entrance to Astrid Lindgren’s Näs, and we also have marked disabled parking spaces. The car park is only for visitor during our opening hours.
Coach parking
Our coach parking area is located on the other side of the road opposite Astrid Lindgren’s Näs; it is only intended for coach groups. You may drop off guests on the same side as the entrance before parking opposite.
NOTE: It is not permitted to park caravans/motorhomes in the coach parking area.
