‘It is individual people who decide the fate of the world’ – Astrid Lindgren, from the speech ’Never violence!’ #ingenlitenlort is an exhibition about the importance of daring to make your voice heard, based on Astrid Lindgren’s commitment and opinion-forming work. Throughout her life, Astrid Lindgren was involved in issues relating to children’s rights, peace, equality, the environment, animals and nature. The exhibition explains how she gave voice to these issues, how her commitment was expressed and what it came to mean politically.
About the exhibition
Visitors can also partake in a broader perspective on the issues that were close to Astrid Lindgren’s heart and explore contemporary discourses on these topics, their importance and what role they themselves play in these discourses.
