‘Pippi of Today’ – An exhibition about girls on the run
The year 2020 marked 75 years since the Pippi Longstocking of the books, the strongest girl in the world, arrived alone in a brand new town. Today, millions of girls are forced to leave their homes and move, not only to new towns but also to new countries.

The exhibition recognises and is part of a major international campaign to support and fight for girls’ right to a better future. ‘Today’s Pippi’ is created in close co-operation between Save the Children and Astrid Lindgren AB
