‘Björn Berg’s Story World’ – Emil and many others!
This summer you can discover the illustrator Björn Berg (1923-2008) here in the vicarage. This anniversary year, which would have marked Björn Berg’s 100th birthday, we pay tribute to him by showcasing his large and diverse body of artistic work.

At the heart of the exhibition is a rich collection of original illustrations and sketches. We show Björn Berg’s work from his first tentative sketches growing up in New York in the 1930s to the illustrations he created for children’s books during his life. Original pictures from the books Emil in Lönneberga, Q-hunden, Pomperipossa, Musen Jenny, Killingen som kunde räkna till 10 and Mrs. Pepperpot…
Welcome to Björn Berg’s Story World; visit his studio, hop on Alfred’s sled and read a book or sit down and draw your own fantastic imaginary character. The exhibition has been created by Björn Berg’s children Maja and Torbjörn Berg.
