In the Garden House café you can enjoy coffee and simpler dishes and in addition you are at the most peaceful oasis on Astrid Lindgren’s Näs. Here is the perfect place to rest for a moment during your visit.

The childhood home is open for guided tours that can be booked in the reception.

Gårdens gamla  snickarbod, där syskonbarnen säljer Astrid Lindgren-böcker med unik etikett samt hantverk och konst.

On the upper floor of the barn there is an exhibition about Astrid Lindgren’s three siblings who grew up on the farm Näs. The exhibition is produced and owned by Astrid Lindgren’s nieces and nephews.

The farm’s old woodshed where Astrid Lindgren’s nieces and nephews sell her books with a unique label, as well as art and handicraft.

The Seven Wishing Jars

A dominant element in the northern part of the meadows at Näs is the artwork The Seven Wishing Jars – a sculpture with room for reflection, play and wishes – created by the land art artist Patrick Dougherty. Don’t forget to hang your wish here!
